ARCHIVES DIVISION DATABASES

• Genealogy & History Section -- Confederate Pension Applications Index Database consists of alphabetically arranged pensions granted from 1898 for veterans and widows. The pensions may include service information, occupation, place of residence, and number of children. The collection also contains a few applications for individuals other than veterans or widows that were not granted.   NEW !

COMMERCIAL DIVISION DATABASES

• Corporations & Trademark Database can be searched for corporation information, registered agents, trademarks, and individual names.
  
  
• Service of Process Database can be searched by suit number.

COMMISSIONS DIVISION DATABASES

• Statewide Elected Officials Database includes Statewide & Multi-Parish Elected Officials, All Elected Officials in a Parish, and All Elected Officials in an Office (i.e. All Sheriffs).
  
  

ELECTIONS DIVISION DATABASES 

• Sample Precinct Level Ballots can be searched to find a Sample Ballot from your voting precinct for the next election.
  
  
• Combined Precinct Search and Sample Ballot provides for finding the ward and precinct for a given address and the correesponding sample ballot. NEW !
  
  
• Candidate Database includes the names, addresses and party affiliations of persons who have qualified for or withdrawn from upcoming elections, or who ran for office in previous elections (to 1987). It also includes propositions and amendments. This database does not include vote totals.
  
  
• Results Database can be searched to obtain official elections returns back to 1987. Results by parish are now available for statewide elections. You may also view ballot information prior to an election to obtain candidate names, amendments, propositions, etc.
  
  

NOTARY DIVISION DATABASES

• Notary Public Database lists all Louisiana Notaries and can be searched using name or zip code.

PUBLICATIONS DIVISION DATABASES

• Legislative Bills to Acts Database - Current Session can be searched by bill number or date signed, for the current legislative session.

OTHER DATABASES

• The Louisiana Database Catalog at the Louisiana Office of Electronic Services includes an index of all on-line databases in Louisiana state government.
