The Louisiana Governor's Mansion Foundation
was establised to finance, through the private sector, the refurbishment, preservation and operation of the Governor's Mansion for the people of Louisiana. The project will cast a new light on the importance of caring for the symbols of Louisiana's rich, colorful, historical and political past. This undertaking will serve as a model for like endeavors of the future.
Magnolia Mound Plantation
Located in Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana, Magnolia Mound is a rare example of the architectural influences of early settlers from France and the West Indies.
