![]() The grand opening of "The Long Years: Huey P. Long and Earl K. Long" exhibition will be celebrated with a reception that is free and open to the public at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum on Sunday, February 4, 2001, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. "The Long Years" exhibit will be on view at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum from February 4, 2001 through April 6, 2001. See below for admission fees and museum hours. Don't miss this educational exhibition featuring one of the most colorful and dynamic families to control Louisiana politics during the past century. The exhibit will include photographs taken at Huey P. Long's campaign speeches, at his inauguration as governor, and at his funeral. Also on display are posters and billboards from Earl K. Long's campaigns for governor of Louisiana and United States senator. Current admission fees are $3.00 for adults; $1.00 for students 6 - 17; and children ages 5 and under are free. Admission is free to all on every first Sunday. All scheduled school tours are free any time. The building is handicap accessible. The exhibit may be viewed during regular museum hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
